ABOUT ME

Sarah Browne is a freelance senior art director with 20 years’ experience in magazine design. Sarah’s career has seen her work for some of the UK’s most prestigious publishers, responsible for the full spectrum of customer, consumer and corporate publications, with a strength in and passion for gift guides and magazines.

As a creative self-starter Sarah thrives on taking a client’s brief and designing visually effective concepts, engaging layouts and compelling content. From the very start of her career, Sarah has owned the full creative magazine design process from end to end, setting her up as the ideal freelancer to take projects from concept to delivery. So, whether it’s concept development, idea creation, art direction, illustration commission, managing a team or budget management, Sarah’s fine eye for detail and proven track record will deliver.

What sets her apart from her peers was eloquently summarised by a past colleague: ‘Not only is Sarah a top art director, but she’s a logistical genius’. She excels at managing big projects, and is incredibly organised across all facets of her work, including managing shoots and collaborating with photographers, working under pressure and delivering to deadlines.

Sarah has an innate drive for improvement, and will deliver an injection of freshness to any project. She is a team player, professional, fun and well versed at adapting to new challenges.

Sarah holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from The University of the West of England, Bristol. Today, she is based in Surrey and is available for projects across Greater London and the South, or working remotely.
